Three leaders of the Newspoll business conceived OmniPoll to keep asking the right questions to the right people in the right manner. Former Newspoll clients will be able to access their past results through OmniPoll. OmniPoll clients will enjoy the care and attention to detail that correctly predicted 60 state and federal election outcomes between 1985 and 2015. |

Key personnel | Martin O'Shannessy QPMR , John Davis QPMR, Frederic Anne AMSRS Martin O'Shannessy Bachelor of Commerce – (Economics and Industrial Relations) University of Wollongong Martin is a 30 year research veteran and one of Australia’s most respected and well known pollsters. Martin has experience in human resources, working as a political advisor, advertising research, marketing, and market and social research. He has maintained a perfect record in voting intention polling; had extensive interaction with senior journalists and makes regular appearances on news and current affairs programmes. As Newspoll CEO, he was for ten years Australia’s highest profile opinion pollster. He has a 100% record estimating state and federal election outcomes at Newspoll and previously at IRIS Research, and has surveyed over 2 million Australians. In the last 30 years, he has advised Australian firms, associations and governments in many studies for Newspoll and IRIS Research. His management background also includes many years of corporate affairs experience in both supportive and hostile media environments. This includes as a staffer for a member of NSW state Parliament 1984-1988, as Manager Research and Regulatory Affairs at AANA 1988-1994, CEO IRIS Research and Newspoll 1994- 2015 and Chairman of Research Industry employer body AMSRO. John Davis B.Ec (Economic Statistics and Operations Research) University of Sydney He has consulted to a variety of private & public sector organisations, embracing a wide range of research areas, including community attitude research, market segmentation studies, customer satisfaction, advertising tracking, public opinion polling, media research, new product development and usage & attitude studies. Frederic Anne Frederic is a multidisciplinary problem solver, with experience of turning insights into action. |
