There are two categories of ADIA membership

1. ADIA Trust Mark Member organisation (TM MEMBER)

ISO is compulsory for ADIA Trust Mark member organisations.

Organisations are eligible to apply for the Trust Mark membership category under the following criteria:

Privacy: Adherence to the Privacy (Market & Social Research)Code 2021
uality assurance: Companies must have the International Standard for Market, Opinion and Social Research qualifications (ISO 20252:2019).
Ethics: Adherence to The Research Society (TRS) Code of Professional Behaviour.

* Please note: Small business are eligible for Trust Mark membership without ISO if they have TRS QPR accreditation & two or less FTE.

2. ADIA Member organisation (NON-TM MEMBER)

ADIA Member organisations do NOT require ISO 20252 certification. Suitable for software/technology providers, corporate research departments and smaller member organisations that don’t meet the Trust Mark criteria. Not applicable for field companies.

Annual turnover is defined as all external billings for market and social research, data analytics and insights services^^ (less GST) provided by the organisation (or part of an organisation) in Australia.
Services are defined as: Research: which includes all forms of market, opinion and social research and data analytics is the systematic gathering (with consent) and interpretation of information about individuals and organisations. It uses the statistical and analytical methods and techniques of the applied social, behavioural and data sciences to generate insights and support decision-making by providers of goods and services, governments, non-profit organisations and the general public. Data analytics means the process of examining data sets to uncover hidden patterns, unknown correlations, trends, preferences and other useful information for research purposes. ^Includes Trust Mark Directory listing administration fee of $250 + gst
