Global Market Research Report 2021

Apr 8 2021

AMSRO is delighted to announce that in partnership with ESOMAR, we are conducting the Industry Global Market Research Survey for 2021.  The study aims to collate key data and information on the market research, data analytics and insights industry, on a national and worldwide basis, and we would greatly value your response.

Members will receive an email from AMSRO’s inviting you to participate via a link – unique to your organisation.

With your support AMSRO and ESOMAR can look forward to publishing a report that better serves the industry with greater insights, more robust findings, and a strong story to tell.

The results will be used by AMSRO to support our advocacy efforts with government and industry representation with media.  The data also feeds into ESOMAR’s annual global market research study.

This leading industry benchmark study offers an industry overview and analysis, at a global as well as regional level, often also used as a point of reference for business investment plans, growth opportunities, research projects, market studies and others.

AMSRO members who participate will receive:

  • The market size and industry landscape in Australia 2020.
  • Sources of turnover by type of client, research method, research design and project type
  • A control check of 2020 market research turnover
  • Expectations for 2022 (essential reading for all businesses given the pandemic).

All members who participate will receive a complimentary copy of the Country Market Research report specific for Australia (similar to those produced by ESOMAR in 2020 that you can find here).

A sample questionnaire is available below should you wish to review before going online.  Kindly use this document as a guide to prepare your responses ahead of filling out the survey.

Please note the following:

  • Purpose: Your submission will not be used for any purpose other than to calculate the volume and characteristics of the research, data and insights industry at a national level.
  • Untraceability: To guarantee the anonymity of the results and prevent a company to be traced back, ESOMAR will not publish results for any country with less than three submissions.
  • Anonymity: The only party with access to your submission will be ESOMAR, the global insights association based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Your submission will be subjected to their privacy policy, which you can find here. However, ESOMAR will receive the responses anonymously, and will not know the identity of the respondent.

The survey will be open until Monday 3 May 2021.
