Held in Sydney for the very first time, the 2014 Leaders Forum promises to challenge, inform and entertain. Themed ‘Our Vision, Our Future’, this AMSRO member event is much more than a networking opportunity. It focuses on the local and global issues impacting our industry, future trends, innovative work practices and what makes success stick. AMSRO hopes to see many up and coming leaders and 2ICs there as well – the next generation of leaders in research.

Forum overview:
The Leaders’ Forum is a member convention that allows AMSRO members to meet in a relaxed atmosphere with peers. It’s a rare chance to network, ask questions in a uniquely confidential environment and learn the latest about issues affecting the direction of market and social research; engage with leading experts regarding marketing, economic, industrial and workplace relations and contribute on policy matters to support the AMSRO agenda and long term strategy. All sessions are participatory with scheduled Q & A time.
In keeping with tradition, a sumptuous official Forum dinner is planned and for the first time a special wine tasting session with International Food and Wine Association industry expert Yvonne Wallis who opens her cellar to share a selection of fine wines from Australia and abroad.
Venue:
Pier One Sydney Harbour is located in Walsh Bay adjacent to the historic Rocks precinct, has unveiled seven of the city’s most spectacular over-water hotel suites with peerless views of Australia’s most iconic landmarks including Luna Park, the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House, making them Sydney’s most sought-after waterfront suites.
Testimonials
“The 2013 AMSRO forum was the best one yet. Everyone was really friendly and welcoming, and The Byron was one of the best hotels we have stayed at. Nathan Hodges from TrinityP3 gave an excellent talk on Leadership Strategies, which really made you think about decision making strategy from a different perspective and Dean Pearson, head of Industry Economics at the National Bank gave a brilliantly insightful talk on the economy and was very entertaining too!”
Nicky Munro, Research Solutions
“A great bunch of people who come together as competitors, but over the one and half days at the AMSRO conference;
– share views and ideas on creating a better future
– learn from others outside our industry
– partake in a gastronomic feast
and then leave as friends with a common purpose. I look forward to AMSRO 2014.”
