A notable feature of the annual Leaders Forum is the exceptional social events, underpinned by fantastic food and wine.

The 2024 Forum will open with the Welcome Drinks at a Woolloomooloo classic – the Tilbury Hotel –
with Future Leaders’ delegates and Elevate delegates networking and socialising over drinks and canapes in the stylish Tilbury courtyard.

The Welcome Dinner follows for Elevate delegates upstairs at the Tilbury. The Welcome Dinner is the true beginning of this exclusive Leaders retreat as old and new friends alike toast to a great couple of days and will be a delicious start to the Forum.

Conference Networking drinks will follow a full day of inspiring and thought-provoking presentations at the fun and funky Ovolo Glasshouse Bar. Elevate delegates will debrief their favourite takeaways from the day over a well-earned drink and whet their appetite for dinner.

The jewel in the crown of the Forum is the Conference dinner – this year brought to us by the incredible team at Sala. After channelling the Italian Riviera cognoscenti and travelling between historic wharves by water taxi (subject to weather conditions), delegates will arrive at Sala – a stunning Italian-inspired space brought to us by Chef-owner Danny Russo – the Godfather of Italian cuisine in Sydney.

The Ovolo Hotel

Set on the longest turpentine-piled wharf in the world (410m), the 5-star Ovolo Woolloomooloo is a quirky, colourful boutique hotel full of included perks such as free loot bag, free hotel mini bar, complimentary guest social hour, luxury indoor swimming pool, 24-hour gym and the gorgeous bar and restaurant Alibi.

A cherished local landmark, Finger Wharf has a rich history – built between 1910 and 1915 by the Sydney Harbour Trust on the site of Sydney’s first fish market, in its time, the wharf has been a major wool store and launch pad for soldiers bound for wartime activity, and in the early 2000s was converted into luxury apartments and a hotel, becoming the Ovolo Woolloomooloo in late 2015.

A short stroll from the Art Gallery of New South Wales, the Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney Harbour and Sydney Opera House, the Ovolo is centrally located between the CBD and Potts Point. A genuine one-of-a-kind location full of heritage and cultural significance as well as abundant character and heart, the Ovolo is the perfect location for the 2024 ADIA Leaders’ Forum.

Tilbury Hotel – Welcome Drinks

The first of many opportunities for delegates to network and catch up, our Welcome drinks, hosted by platinum sponsor Forsta, takes place at the Tilbury Hotel.

Once a classic watering hole for the Finger Wharf dockworkers, the Tilbury is now a beautifully redesigned upmarket venue with a premium food & beverage offering, naturally lit outdoor spaces complimented by wooden and brass fixtures and a heritage façade.

Comprehensively refitted and redesigned in 2002 and again in 2016, the Tilbury finds its place between the influence of high-end, glamourous developments and the established urban character of Woolloomooloo and is the perfect environment for wining, fine dining and entertaining.
