Anthea Duke is the Director of Star Mark Global and a Lead Auditor with over 32 years of professional experience spanning auditing, consulting, and management system development. Her expertise covers internationally recognised and government-imposed standards, including ISO 20252 and its predecessors, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and preceding safety standards, ISO 27001, as well as compliance frameworks required by the Department of Social Services, National Disability Insurance Scheme, Department of Families, Fairness and Housing Victoria, and the Australian Community Industry Alliance.
Holding a Diploma of Quality Auditing, Anthea has developed and implemented numerous management systems aligned with these standards, supporting organisations to improve efficiency, meet compliance obligations, and deliver better outcomes for their clients. She also consults extensively, guiding businesses through the practical application of standards to embed sustainable and effective quality, environmental, safety, information security, and research governance practices.
Her career began in market and social research as an interviewer, supervisor, and field manager, followed by leadership roles in inbound customer service call centres. In these positions, she built systems and processes in line with ISO 9001, laying the foundation for her current auditing and consulting work. Today, auditing is her full-time focus, and she takes pride in helping organisations refine their systems, reduce inefficiencies, and achieve accurate, reliable outcomes for those they serve.
