Advocacy

Advocating for ADIA members while promoting the value of data, insights and research to government and regulatory bodies is a priority for ADIA.

We address legislative and regulatory issues that affect the industry by making our position known on policies, reviews and other government initiatives.

Government and industry relations

ADIA is actively engaged and lobbying on the issues that matter:

  • Privacy and data protection: The Australian Privacy Act Review
  • Multi-enterprise Agreement: Negotiations regarding the UWU-ADIA Market Research Industry Agreement 2022-26.
  • Access: Integrated public number database (IPND), the Do Not Call Register and
    the Call-blocking issue
  • Online Fraud – Bot’s & AI Impact on online research.

ADIA genuinely believes that it’s vitally important to ensure that clients – both government and commercial – continue their support for our industry to ensure Australians are listened to, social policy needs are met and that our industry comes through the challenging time of COVID-19 together.
