Wage Rates – 1 July 2023
ADIA is applying to register the UWU and ADIA Market & Social Research Industry Agreement 2022-2026 with Fair Work Australia but has agreed that the updated wage rates would take effect on the first pay period after 1 July 2023.
In agreement with the Union, all minimum wage rates in the enterprise agreement are fixed at a minimum of 2% above the corresponding pay rates for Market and Social Research employees under the National Employment Standards (NES).
As most members would be aware, the Fair Work Commission awarded an increase of 5.75% (announced June 2023) to the minimum wage and Modern Award rates, largely due to the high level of inflation we are currently experiencing. The new enterprise agreement rates are adjusted to reflect that increase and follow below.

OVERTIME
The new overtime rate is the relevant rate in the wages table above, plus $8.03 per hour.
MOTOR VEHICLE ALLOWANCE
The kilometre rate is as per the Modern Award, which is $0.91 per KM.
SUPERANNUATION increases from 10.5% to 11% as of July 1 2023.
