Wage Rates – 1 July 2026
The UWU and ADIA Market & Social Research Industry Agreement 2023-2026 has been approved by the Fair Work Commission (FWC) and is available below.
Updated wage rates take effect in the first pay period after July 1, 2026.
In agreement with the Union, all minimum wage rates in the enterprise agreement are fixed at a minimum of 2% above the corresponding pay rates for Market and Social Research employees under the National Employment Standards (NES).
As most members would be aware, the Fair Work Commission awarded a 4.75% increase (announced in June 2026) to the minimum wage and Modern Award rates, largely due to the high level of inflation we are currently experiencing. The new enterprise agreement rates have been adjusted to reflect the increase and are listed below.
These rates take effect from the first full pay period following 1 July 2026.

MOTOR VEHICLE ALLOWANCE
The Award kilometre rate for own vehicle usage (which is specified in the Industry Agreement) is currently $1.00 per kilometre.
SUPERANNUATION
Please note that statutory superannuation contributions stay at 12% for 2026/27, however from
1 July 2026, employers must pay superannuation guarantee (SG) contributions at the same time as salary or wages, rather than quarterly.
