Wage Rates – 1 July 2021

WAGE RATES FROM 1 JULY 2021

As a result of impending annual increases to the minimum wage rates in the Market and Social Research Industry Award 2010 (the Modern Award that underpins the MSR Industry Agreement as prescribed by the Fair Work Commission), new minimum pay rates apply for the Industry Agreement classifications in the table below.

These rates apply from the first full pay period after 1 July 2021.  Download a PDF copy below which highlights the classifications that have been increased (due to FWC changes).

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE MINIMUM STATUTORY SUPERANNUATION CONTRIBUTION WILL INCREASE FROM 9.5 TO 10% ON 1 JULY 2021.

The out of hours penalties remain at:

On a Public Holiday (as set out in clause 21 of this Agreement) – $15.86

Per hour – On any day between midnight and 8.00am – $7.91

Per hour – On Sunday between 9.00pm and midnight – $7.91

Per hour – The overtime rate will be the relevant minimum ordinary hourly rate plus – $7.26

The motor vehicle allowance is $0.81 per kilometer.
